"Two Times Tchaikovsky" Concert in Naperville
“Music is indeed the most beautiful of all Heaven’s gifts to humanity wandering in the darkness. Alone it calms, enlightens, and stills our souls. It is not the straw to which the drowning man clings; but a true friend, refuge, and comforter, for whose sake life is worth living,” said Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1877. These words are fully supported by the musicians from the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, who spend all their free time volunteering at this great organization. These people find peace, comfort and a sense of life in music and have delivered joy and happiness to our community since 1954.

Iberian Inspirations Concert in Naperville
"The DuPage Symphony Orchestra has surrounded our community with music since 1954. Each performance of this unique orchestra is a little celebration of passion, love, devotion and artistry. The concert called “Iberian Inspirations” that took place on May 9 at Wentz Concert Hall in Naperville demonstrated once again that the DuPage Symphony Orchestra is a group of talented musicians that are deeply appreciated by our community. Their performance impressed the audience with professionalism and their love to music."

Land of Lincoln Concert in Naperville
An unexpected and remarkably enthusiastic audience reaction to unfamiliar music in both the Harris and Stolz pieces presented at Mar 14th's Land of Lincoln concert. Kudos for choosing to diverge from the "Safe and Sound," "Same Old, Same Old" programming. -Jay B.

Gallic Glory Concerts in Naperville
"This performance impressed me with its carefully chosen repertoire and the devotion of the volunteer musicians to their community and to music. This orchestra, that is loved and appreciated by many people in the area, has proven its high level of professionalism and mastership during the decades of its existence. People of different ages and social groups come to the concerts presented by the DuPage Symphony Orchestra and enjoy its performances. Now, I am one of them."
